finished. hallalujah. more than 15 hours i believe. extra fine Bic pen on 8.5x11 paper. i cant find the reference, but just believe it looked like this, with a little more color and fill.im not happy with a few things, ie: the pistons fromt he cheekbone to the mouth on the main side, the writing i had underneath(which i vainly tried to erase), and the cord(which isnt exactly accurate, i just got fed up with it), and the big piston from shoulder to skull got moved to the left a little more than i wouldve liked.
Given to the sister for christmas.

Very beautiful work. I love the shading... some parts of it look so well done it looks like it were a picture of a real life model replica. My favorite part of this drawing is the detail in the side of his head, all that perfect detail in the temple area... this really inspires me to want to draw a picture of a terminator again. Keep up the tallented work~

I've never seen those movies so I'm not very fond of the subject matter. Which perhaps makes me better than these praisers to judge, right?
So, my opinion on this piece: Good. Nothing innovative or unique, but a good rendering all in all. The shading is better than average and the attention to detail is admirable.
If this was Darth Vader, I'd say it kicks ass.

i have two easils. the one at dads is held together by vise grips. annoying really, i prefer not to use it. now to find a good vader...
