"Game of Cat and Mouse....Or....Rabbit and Fox.."

"Casey picked up the pace in order to try catching the two down the side street. However, the moment she'd gotten to the exact spot they were in mere seconds before, they were already down the street. It made no sense to her, even if she hesitated, at her size versus theirs, the shouldn't have even been halfway down the street. She just assumed this were playing some game with her, attempting to run or outrun the big Fox Hybrid Inspector. Casey knew these streets though, she's been patrolling them for years. She ran down to the next intersection knowing she'd cut them off there. Casey ran down the next side street into a slide, thinking she'd appear just before the two at the crosswalk. However, they were nowhere to be seen. Casey was on the verge of losing her mind. She ran at easily 45 miles per hour down that street. There was zero chance of them passing her even with a car. Casey took another sniff, catching their unusual scent further down the road behind her. She saw them rounding a corner on the main road, traffic heading in both directions. Still thinking the two were some kids that had gotten away from their parents, walking towards a busy street sent her into a panic. Again she sprinted down the street towards them, hoping to catch them before they stepped into the street. Although, once again, they were much farther down the sidewalk now. What seemed even more bizarre was that they looked to be somehow keeping up with the cars on the road?! Casey had enough of this, it was time for some answers. She leapt up to the building closest to her, accidentally cracking the corner concrete with her grip before pulling herself up. Running on the rooftops made it easier to track and keep up with the two mystery beings below. Just as they reached a split in the road, she made her move. Casey hopped down, landing directly behind Blaze and Anubis with a loud "Thud!". The two turned to see what all the nice was, only to see Casey kneeling like a superhero talking under her breath. She stood herself up, easily towering over the two at their four foot heights. She looked at them like an upset parent, frustrated by what they had just put her through. All Casey wanted was answers at this point. Casey was quite surprised by the response she had gotten from Blaze in return. Sassily, Blaze responded making it seem like they were more than aware of her following them. They were just too caught up in their mission to really stop to wonder what she had wanted. They introduced themselves to her, which confused poor Casey even more. Blaze told Casey that they were there to find some very powerful beings in the city, they just hadn't known exactly where to look. Casey hesitated for a bit, trying to really wrap her head around the entire situation. She finally mentioned the Goddesses and both Anubis' and Blaze's eyes lit up. She must have hit the nail on the head. Blaze made a goofy comment, which seemed to be very on brand for her before turning to follow Casey. At this point, Casey's head was spinning. She just went from an impossible foot chase to meeting some of the most bizarre characters she'd come across. And she's met Aliens! What could come of this next?"
