I've been riding on a self-conscious art improvement wave for a while, where plenty of tutorials and motivators have collectively judged my current skills and made me think about how to make my comics more visually challenging. Preferrably in the good way. So not only is this strip featuring the girl counterpart, but I also pulled a frog view in the first panel. Encouraging praise and mocking critisism are both welcome!This strip came to be around the same time as the gems strip, but Acklow over at Smogon Community introduced the basic idea to me well before that. The wings are by far not as advantegous as the strip may portrait, partially because I left out the 'slightly' from the item description. But this apparently didn't stop me from collecting a bunch of 'em before learning how they only increase 1 EV point. Scandalous!

Lol I always thought that using a wing on a Pokemon meant, like, having them touch it and then the power would be transferred to them... I like this a lot better. XD

I have the same question about tm's; maybe you throw them in the air and shoot it with a 12 gauge, and the peices left stab into your pokemon(you can use that by the way).

Actually, the good thing about them is that they have no limit to how many you can use. You can just stuff your pokemon full of them until they reach the maximum 252 EVs for one stat, instead of the vitamin's 100 EV cap.

They're still useful, even if they only give 1 EV; they don't have the vitamin's cap of 100; just the in-game max of 255 and the effective max of 252 (since more than 253 in any one stat is wasteful)/
Just a little look into how EVs work; doesn't make the comic any less funny, since I could see a lot of trainers doing that.

I absolutely love it when people dissect video games, especially when logical/illogical/obsessive tendencies we all develop when playing them are brought up. I love the comics, please keep them up!

I'm WAY too obsessed with collecting feathers,I have at least 30 of each feathers.Just curious,do you guys know the purpose of pretty feathers other than useless junk?Is there any way that some maniac in a trailer would buy them?

I just sell them. I never found a maniac but since they are unlimited and sell for a good price that isn't bad
