Description
Given the cool appearance of the weather rocks, I’ve always felt that they could be used for something more than just passively boosting weather setters and instead serve as evolution inducing held-items, so these fellas are my new take on that idea since my old one hasn’t really withstood the test of time. It’s a creature that feeds on rocks and stores energy and nutrients as crystals in preparation of its final evolution, the last stage being decided on what kind of catalyst is used.
Meteors and comets fit the Rock/Fire and Rock/Ice typings respectively, and since the former moves towards the earth and the latter (arguably) moves away, all I needed to complete the theme was something to move around the earth, so its last form was shaped into a satellite with an electric typing to go along its levitating properties (with or without said ability). That, and it fits with Smooth Rock’s color scheme. All names are based on the word “ore”, combined with junior, storage, meteor, orbit, and comet.

Orebit: Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Thunder Wave, Charge Beam, Rapid Spin, Earth Power
Comore: Blizzard, Ice Beam, Icicle Crash, Ice Shard, Accelerock, Superpower, U-turn, Swords Dance

I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking the weather rocks could've been used for evolving pokemon!
Rock/Electrick sounds intresting, but I'm guessing it'll be like Ampharos (slow, but it can take hits and dish them out too. Basically what people refer to as a Mighty Glacier)
Alternatively, I'm guessing one will have stats and a movepool based on a "stike hard, strike fast" philosophy, one will have a movepool and stats for stalling out enemies (with healing moves such as Rest, Recover, Substitute, Safeguard, etc), and one will have a movepool for supporting the team (with moves such as Reflect, Light Screen, Safeguard, Hypnosis, Lucky Chant, Baton Pass, etc)

Woah, this is a great concept! Especially because those Rocks finally make any use except for their held-item-purpose.

I love the alien nature of these designs, and the split evolution theme you put in here is excellently done.

I love how you made these fakemon, specially Orebit with that typing, stat spread and nice support movepool, though, by design is also my favourite. But I also like how you did Comore with the option to go physical with 2 priority STAB options or special with Compound eye and BoltBeam coverage + Rock type, it sounds quite interesing.

I really love the concept behind these. Especially on how you used the weather rocks. I think the designs are so super unique and creative! I love how Orebit is kinda modeled after a satellite and has electric typing too. It's a very nice touch

That stone has a different appearance altogether, no clear crystalisation, and thus not something I decided to use.

Wrong word to use then, but even you can tell that the Damp rock is completely different from the other three in the way it's completely covered rather than having protrusions. I couldn't come up with something appropriate for it, and thus I didn't force myself to.

These look great and they could be real. Sadly Game Freak only introduces these "gimmick" Pokemon in the Gen they introduced the gimmick and the weather stones are already a few generations old.
Also, the move-sets don't match with the 3 evolutions. Most of the time the move-sets are the same only different types. If Meteore got Fire Punch, Orebit and Comore should also get Thunder Punch and Ice Punch. Maybe also give every evolution the corresponding weather move (Sunny day, Sandstorm and Blizzard).

Why the hell hasn't Nintendo hired you already? Your Pokémon concepts are so original and refreshing to look at, and I love how you take the time to find creative ways to repurpose deadend game mechanics, like giving the weather stones new life as evolutionary items instead of just passive move boosters. Anyway, these critters are amazing, and as always I lament the fact that I'll never get to have them on a real team.
