Description The other sword which was made shortly after the Nimbus Edge [link] , and as you can see, this one is packing some extra punch.

'Solar' reveals its connection to the sun, and 'Sweeper' declares that the wielder of this overpowered complex of steel and flares will have no troubles pushing off enemies and clearing a solid path. However, while writing this, I learned that a sweeper also happens to be a small, tropical fish [link] , which for reasons I'm sure you can understand doesn't really fit with this idea I'm pitching for. But the image has already been named, so unless someone has a magical, genius idea of how to somehow change the name of computer files then I'm afraid things will remain as they are.

The image was wrought forth by the pencil tool in photoshop, lighting and shades was improved by Wacom tablet, and the background is a gradient with a picture of the sun in front (thanks, NASA!).

And as a last note, I highly recommend wearing gloves while carrying this one around. If not for the heat, then at least for protection against the spikes protruding from its core.

This. Is a badass sword.

Looks like it would be hella tough to handle.

The design of the blade is nice. I wonder how heavy the sword is. With a hilt and blade like that, I'm sure someone would need some muscles to lift that.

The shape of the pommel is one thing that sticks out to me. What inspired a semi-circle design?

Also...I can't stop staring at the center of the guard. o___o *stares*

The sun itself is usually portrayed as a circular object, but as a ring at the end of the hilt wouldn't the best idea, I settled with less.

I did include the ring, or orb, as its core though. The mind absorbtion feature happened to be a bonus.
