Description
This seemed to me to be a very formal flower arrangement such as you'd see in a show.Ultra Fractal and background in PSP

very nice man , this frac looks allot like an edelweiss flower (very beautifull and hard to get ) btw how did you cut that fractal out in psp?

Glad you like it It wasn't cut out in PSP. I used opacity on each layer (just the background colour) then I rendered it as a png file so that the fractal still has the transparent layers when rendered (If this doen't make sense then let me know and I'll explain in more detail
)

indeed , what was i thinking ?^^ , if you gotta cut these things out you'll lose allot of quality (even some parts of the frac) close to were you cut them out. And if you do it manually it would take hours ^^.
Thx for the explanation , i understand now, and if you save'm to psd you can use'm in photoshop right away

Wow! This is GOOD! I love how the spirals jump out in contrast with the VERY well textured backdrop. Excellent work! (btw - try "render to disk" with anti-aliasing "normal" and the "jaggies" will go away on the finer lines Especially if you want to make a large print)

Thank you .
Confession time.... I post-editted this fractal a bit too much. The jaggies are actually caused by me pressing the 'sharpen' tool one time too many in PSP and not noticing
Question for you... I always have anti-alias set to non-adaptive. Is that overkill? I know its not the best option for fractals with lots of thin lines but what about 'chunkier' fractals?

Lovely and fragile. Background texture provides a nice contrast.

Another wonderful classic piece...! I see that you like stony/ancient backgrounds for fractals. These really give your fractals a kind of antique look.

I was uncertain quite how to frame this one. Because it looked natural I felt the background should be too. Generally, if the fractal is shiny then the background will be matt and visa-versa (but don't hold me to that statement)

Thank you. The shadow really seems to lift it from the background
