Ok, so her name is Nioki Akarui, she is a cat girl, so a Neko girl. She has a huge a sweet tooth, so she is like L. She is also L's girlfriend :3 and she also has some of the same behaviors as L( which was a result of working around him.) She is a total gamer, as you can see in the picture in the upper left corner.
Plz give me feedback! I could use some, and on my other artwork as well!

Ok, forgive me if this doesn't make sense, but here's why:
Her mother loved cats. She always lived with cats all her life, however her father hated cats.
But, that's how they got together, because she was able to show him that cats aren't bad pets,
nor bad animals. However, he soon got obsessed with cats, and loved them to the very core.
LITERALLY. So, when the mom and dad decided to have a child, the D.N.A that the father
received from loving cats, as well as the mother, transferred to their child. And, the doctor told
them it was a genetic mutation, due to the overdose of cat D.N.A.
Hope that made sense, but if not, then god damn it ;-;Β

Mhmm~but how does this reinforce her role in the death note world?

Because her parents could only take care of her for a few years, so like when
she was about 9 years of age, they couldn't handle having a "freak" like her
for a child. And the reason for that is because everywhere they went, people calledΒ
their child a freak. So, they abandoned her, and left her to live on her own.( and btw,Β
they lived in London, because London is one of my favorite places ^^) She found a nearby
building, and found out it was the Wammy's Orphanage, a.k.a, the same one L went to.
They took her in, but she couldn't relate to anyone. Her ears and tail made her stand out,Β
so she usually kept to herself. So, she was a shy girl all her life. That is, until she transfered toΒ
To-Oh University in Japan. There, people didn't really care that she was a cat girl. So, she became more
open.
