come to think of it, I dont even know if I spelled that correctly . . .anyway, it's a word that I honestly hate but for whatever reason felt like making a picture that had it somehow. . .
the coloring technique definitely benefitted from a 'less is more' ideal, Ive been into a flat/painterly approach with all my work lately
Im not entirely sure how clear the messege I was communicating is, the reference is a little obscure but the idea of her being kinda wierded out by the mushroom came across well.

I agree with the first comment, the coloring style really fits the pic's theme and look very well

The style of the picture and the coloring technique are cool. A style not to many people use these days but is common in books and advertisements. The mushroom is cool and so is her expression. Tis a nice piece of work.

i like the whole 'less is more' colors you did with the girl, the mushroom, and table top and wall. there's more colors condensed in the paintings behind her. n_n
