This I just did less than a week ago.They're completely original characters that I made up and are in no way connected to licensed preexisting Nintendo characters . .
In reality it's a milestone, in 25 years this is my very first Metroid fanart, it's kinda exciting!

Nice! The colors are amazing and the angle of the picture is a great touch. I like how the character's body is swerved backwards; that's an awesome action pose

it's hard to say, when I was a kid, I got grounded a lot so being all cooped up, I entertained myself by drawing all the time. When I got older, I just kinda stuck with it. To answer your question, I don't get 'inspired' per se, it's just a compulsory thing. I kinda make artwork the way most people eat I guess haha.
