My gallery was suspiciously devoid of any Metroid art. So, here's some!One of my first submissions on this site many years ago was some crappy Flaahgra art that I did after playing Prime... This one has a more Super Metroidy flavor. I only recently played the game since I never had an NES/SNES growing up (My dad was a programmer for games on the 3DO, so we had that until the Nintendo 64 came out. In case anyone wants to put forward that I had no childhood
). Anyway. Ridley! The zombie mutant cyborg space pirate dragon that wouldn't die.

i like how she shot the the missile over her shoulder and her aim was perfect lol........ just goes to show how epic samus really is

Reminds me of what you can do in the prime games XD
in prime 3, and the re-release of the previous two with Wii-mote controls, you could lob missiles around corners without having to expose yourself to weapon fire XD
so long as you locked on before hiding around the corner.
but you have to admit, his persistance is somewhat endearing. Not even death will stop his lust for power XD
