These pictures with the prefix competion are the photos taken especially for the competition i entered, so they were all on film and all printed and all send off to hopefully win something for me. But we'll see.This is the first of four colour entries.
This was a boat in Kalk Bay harbour, taken in the late afternoon with the reflection, slightly cropped.

Gotta love those green boats in Kalk Bay. A polariser might have been good to cut the glare on the side of the boat, but then it might have lessened the reflection too and that would not be so good.

yeah, i did put a polariser on for a few shots, but i don't really like it. I like that glare on the boat though, i wanted it to have as much light as possible. thanks for commenting. Yeah, i lurve those boats, such fun taking pictures there.

mis hunny you have severely outdone yourself with this one... I love it, im not gonna critique it because its really really good!
The composition is excelent, the colours are very complementary and theres kind of a feel given to the image because of this... there is also repartition made visible by the hole in the side of the boat, it draws the eye to the panels making up the hull... the absence of the one makes the rest more apparent..

The texture of the water looks good againts the shiny green boat. I think the crop would look better a little higher, showing off more of the boat. Other then that, well done. What a nice shade of green
