Throw some Viking Runes into your Fan Art! Here's a little rune index you can use at your will. Feel free to take from it what u wish. Remember...there are MANY different styles of runes from many different cultures so don't u go telling me they're wrong. I've been using this particular style for years now (ya, i now, what a nerd). i is wrong i only has one shape and it is the l and j only has one shape too and it is not the l. q is wrong that shape is only k and c, q is s mixed with g v is wrong because v and w share the same shape the rest is correct and ng has 2 shapes that and a square tilted diagonally

Right, and like I said " there are many different rune alphabets ". This is the one have, am, and will be using. It was taken out of a book I got WITH my rune set when I bought them.

there is only about 9 kinds, Elder Futhark,Gothic Runes,Anglo-Saxon Futhorc,Younger Futhark,Younger Futhork,Hungarian Runes,Orkhon,Cirth,and dragon script.

Hey everyone,
My Mom says she had to learn to read runes in school when she was a kid (she's from way up north in Sweden in a place called Sundsvall). Anyway, hop on the web and check out Meas Howe for some amazing rune stuff. It's a burial mound raided by Vikings in Scotland...seems they spent 3 days there looting the place and covered it in runes. stuff like: Helga's a dog face. Same graffiti you would see today.
