This was so much fun.I love sketching. I feel like as an animator my sketches have so much more personality than my cleaned up work, even if things don't always look exactly right. <3

I know what you mean; I love seeing an artist's sketches, as they're usually so lose and lively.

yes yes YES! I love that about being an animator. I had a really awesome figure drawin teacher in college.
She said she could always tell the animators when they came through her program (which was in illustration) because while they didn't always draw every detail, and completely perfect, They draw instead with motion. the drawings are still, but there is movement in them. XD I love being able to draw like that.

So much Derpy! I didn't know she was such a gymnast 
And it is exaclty like you say, after cleaning up and colouring sketches (and make them more show-like sometimes in my case) I feel they lose a certain touch... Part of their personality if you will. And it's darn hard to bring back that part in the final product...
