I think the secret is to love what you make, no matter what it looks like compared to the work of others... I practice a lot and believe me, my first pieces were pretty horrible. And still today I make some ugly pieces, but since I only post the good stuff (and I'm pretty sure that everybody does so) nobody will know

First off, thank you for responding, hearing that from someone like you, well it makes me feel amazing. ill defiantly continue trying to work with clay, and who knows, maybe one day it will look as amazing as some of yours! that is, if i can quell my shaking hands (damn you genetics!)! Thanks! I often have problems with cakes too. So I chose a simple one and made it as good as I can to have a starting point.
