Aya is a kind, honest to goodness girl, who will lend an ear to listen and a shoulder to cry on. When around her brother she is more relaxed, and acts familiarly with everyone and anyone around them. When not around him, she becomes a little more shy and withdrawn, but is still easy to become friends with her, as she’s a social butterfly. She’s quite smart, and can be very clever, but has her dumb moments from time to time. She’s enthusiastic, perky, and loves to spend time with her friends. Although she may appear as cute as a button as some might say, she has times of when she’ll blow a gasket at you if you tick her off and can be emotional as well. Polite and somewhat soft-spoken, this doesn’t mean that she doesn’t like to have fun. This also hints that the young girl can be quite restless, looking for any way of entertainment. As for negatives, she can be quite indecisive, stubborn, naïve, and anxious when faced with hardship or battle, but she will go in headfirst, as she is also impulsive. Unlike her brother, she can be forgiving, and doesn’t hate or dislike human beings. She wishes all her friends and specifically her brother nothing but happiness and is willing to do anything to help someone in need.

History:

As a child, Aya was abandoned in the ancient capital of Japan more than a millennia ago with an older child named Zen. Having no memory of her mother or father, she lived with her adoptive brother for many centuries. Aya was a half breed unlike her older brother, being half kitsune and half ghoul, and dealt with the hardships that hybrids alone had to face from many other creatures, but her brother always tried his best to protect her, feeding her corpses to sate her hunger as well as fend for her when she was being bullied. Civilizations grew around them, capitals were formed, and many known eras passed through Japan, often bringing on wars, sickness, and famine throughout the land. Aya would spend her days at home cleaning, and even tending to the garden while Zen was earning a living to support them both. It wasn’t long until while living their somewhat normal lives that Hurricane Valentine came and swept across the land. Satan had been killed, and demons started to appear everywhere. It didn’t take long until the human race decided to annihilate any demon they could. Zen tried to protect his sister the best he could, often taking precautions, and Aya herself adapted as well. It wasn’t until a kitsune named Kazuki came along during the twentieth century, claiming that she was his daughter. Zen himself was cautious, but Aya listened to his story immediately and intently, glad that her father had been looking for her for a long time. After trying to convince him that Kazuki was telling the truth, Zen then accepted him. It wasn’t long until after Kazuki offered them sanctum at his home deeper in the mountains that Zen decided to leave. Unknowing of his motives, Aya was against it, but Zen wouldn’t listen. The day he left she shouted at him, making him promise that he’d come back, only to be answered with a wave. Afterwards, Aya wasn’t herself for a while, showing signs of depression, and often visited their garden back at their old home. There were even times where she tried to leave to search for him, but Kazuki, having been ordered by Zen, forbid her from leaving. 15 years passed, and Aya hadn’t heard anything from her brother since his departure. It was one day after visiting their old home that she found a picture she had drawn of the two of them and finally decided to find where her brother disappeared to. Packing up, she spoke to her father, saying she’d search for Zen and that he couldn’t stop her this time. Kazuki didn’t object, seeing that Zen’s absence disturbed her, and let her leave. Setting off, she searched all over Japan, only to look through Project Daemon, seeing that it seemed as if it aimed specifically at creatures like her. Curious, she immediately went for it, hoping that this might be tied to her brother’s whereabouts.

Power(s):

Shapeshifting – She can shapeshift into her fox-form, and can shift between these two forms freely. It is only when she is shapeshifting into someone else that there is the need for a leaf.

Foxfire – She is able to conjure fire, but isn’t fairly good in this ability.

Anything religious.

Can die like a normal human.

As stated, she is not very good at conjuring foxfire.
