You know those times when you really want to enter a contest, and when you try to you have no idea what to draw?Yeah that's me XP
I tried to enter the webtoon contest thing but it kept complainingon the size of the picture, so I'm still trying to figure it out... sigh...

Know that feeling too often. However, my book hasn't been submitted to Amazon yet. Still trying to figure out the hoop jumping from my publisher to them. You could try Barnes&Noble.

It won't be in the store. It's an eBook, so you have to go to B&N's website to find it there. Don't know what it would take to produce the printed version, but people seem to rather go the electronic route for reading material these days.
$6.99 is the going price.

I was actually writing somthing the other day for a client and my handwriting was so bad the client couldn't read it. So, I tend to do some handwriting before I draw

I just needed ... a chucked up love life, some instrumental music , a bit of insomnia and a deep breath. (In germany all this together is called "Das Orm")

I don't want to put me and my "kind" in the wrong spot ... but it requires the least handyman skills :3
But I guess, choosing the wrong words is like, don't know taking the wrong pen.
Oh, don't know if you already tried this, but writing is not my only branch of art.
Sometimes when i feel stuck, i take my mobile phone and take pictures.
It really helps me to release this block.

Or music (fitting to the scene you want to write) and having a walk, but most of all something to release the pressure. Regardless in which form/activity this valve comes.

That's why I mostly give up before even starting ;o;
Rather than entering the contest then if it's a contest hosted by a friend and there are art prizes I say 'You know what, I'll give a drawing to the winner as well'

It is cool~ Since if you're one of the prize donators you get a specific character to draw (unlike in most contests where you're supposed to come up for something by yourself within a mostly too short time period... ToT). The only stupid thing is when the winner then ignores you when you ask for a character reference... .o. I had that once. I was prize donator in a big raffle by one of my senpais together with maaaaaaaaaany other people. Several of us send the winner comments and/or notes for character references... We got all ignored XD She took the 2000 points prize and ignored the round about 10 drawings she would've got from several people. .___. That's not cool then again. (Even if you can be happy then for you don't have to draw a picture for someone else then and can use the time for own drawings then)

Probably... I at least would've loved getting amazing art from all the people if I had won for there were really amazing artists giving prizes.. Like lots of those people I consider my senpais ;o; ToT
Also I personally think it is discouraging for the one who holds the raffle to see the winner runs off with the 2000points and ignores the art prizes. Like why even organizing a really amazing and really big raffle like that with about 1500 raffle tickets given out in total (people could've several tickets so it's not like it were that many participants though but you've to keep track of all the raffle tickets after all) when the winner does not care for the prizes except for the points...
