I didn't get a chance to comment on this one earlier, but I thought it was very funny. I love the colour range as well, with the blue and yellow so strong on the glove, and reddy-purple in the back.
Have you taken a lot of courses in painting, or are you mostly self-taught?

Thanks. This came about as a result of a music video I watched featuring glove and sock people, some crazy stuff.
O I'm NO painter, unfortunately. I only painted 2 oil paintings in my life. It was fun, yes, but the set-up and clean-up afterward totally turned me off to painting. My background is in traditional drawing media (pencils and colored pencils mostly), which is my preference. I put my crayons away to give digital art a stab. All the illustrators are going digital, so I figured i should get on that. Whats your excuse?

My excuse is, all my clients want digital work these days. I tried early on to get digital versions of traditional work via scan or camera. But you basically need a studio just for photography to get consistent results with that. And a Wacom is an awful lot cheaper. Plus, I save hundreds per year on supplies, etc.
Clean, cheap, and reliable... sounds like a commercial for a vacuum!
