Yay!!!! My first animation of Blaze blinking!!!

I have wanted to do this for a while but I never really figured out how to do it.

I drew the different frames on my iPad and put it together on Gimp so sorry if it is of bad quality.

So! What do you guys think! Is it good for my first attempt?

Also, a question for animators out there, what program do you use?
Anyone knows any good tutorials? I did this on my own so it is kinda crappy.

PS - Her tail is behind her back
