It's been a while since I uploaded anything F-Zero related and what better time than today, which on this day, the original F-Zero game was released in japan on the super famicom 21 years ago. I decided to commemorate this day by drawing every single pilot from every F-Zero game released since then.This pretty much took me the whole day to do since stuff kept coming up but i'm just glad I got this done before the day was over. I tried to make the top part similar to how the F-Zero X title screen looked and I also enjoyed doing little bits like Princia and Lisa staring each other down for obvious reasons, and of course featured the original four in the center fully colored and whatnot.
So happy 21st birthday F-Zero! Here's hoping to a new game announced sometime soon. Cuz lord knows it's been way to f*cking long!
F-Zero and all its characters and logos are Nintendo's.

I love this so much. I laughed when I noticed Mr. Zero in the middle of the X characters looking like he's belting out The Meaning Of Truth as loud as he possibly can. It probably sounds awful. I love it.

PURE WINNAGE!! Is that every single character from SNES to Climax?! SO AWESOME!! Too bad we don't know who are the pilots of Blue Thunder, Lunar Bomber, Green Amazone, & Fire Scorpion... I'm sure they're cool characters, too... ^_^ WINNAGE! You even got the original pilots in the centre of the picture!

To be honest I didn't knew the exact date the first game was released, now I do. I hope to have something done for next year, though I prefer not to do promises.

Thanks for the comment man. It took me almost the whole day to do this. I was even considering coloring everyone but I felt it would've taken too long and it was getting dark at the time so I just put a gradient behind them. I didn't even get to do shading for everyone.
It's cool that you know the date of the series's debut, but I understand if you don't pay tribute next year since that seems to be Nintendo's attitude toward the series.

Yeah it's a shame that Nintendo prefers to left behind this awesome series. But at least we appreciate it and we can still play the games

This is phenomenal though man, so awesome you managed to include so much in one picture! An absolutely fitting tribute right here. Superb! This is exactly the sort of image I hope to do myself someday. I REALLY like how you have included the MV cast in there too, not much artwork around those guys, but they are really awesome regardless so it made me smile to see them there

Thanks for the comment man, glad you liked it. Of course i'd include the MV cast, they count just as much as everyone else. Although I agree that there's not much art for them out there, finding decent reference pictures for them was a bit of a hassle.
Now i'm curious to see your tribute to the series so i'm looking forward to that. As for collaborations, i'd be totally down to do that. I've never done one before though so if you have any ideas let me know.

No problems man, apologies for not getting back to ya sooner! The MV cast are out of the spotlight most of the time so I will do some sketches when I get the time. There is pretty much just one ref for each character if I recall. A Shame 
It will be good, just gotta plan it first then I can get stuck in ^^. I have done some Collabs before but nothing absolutely major so I hope to do a pretty good piece with ya, I was thinking prehaps, maybe a comic strip like page similar to the one you can find in F-Zero X?

In all seriousness though, I was debating on drawing dark soldier and Hyper Zoda but I decided not to. I decided not to do dark soldier since he's just one of many other robots who were basically grunts and he basically drove an orange Death Anchor. But looking back on it now, I should've just done it for the hell of it. Crap, now it's starting to bug me. I hope this doesn't put my efforts into this in vain!

its okey, hyper zoda is just zoda in another form, having both of them on the same pic doesnt make much sense, same goes for the young captain falcon, hes just rick wheeler with another name ''-.-
