I was surprised how many views my first Sokkla picture got, so I decided to draw another one.I remember reading a rant on a Livejournal Forum about how the whole 'Capture' thing was overdone, and people were bored with it.
So . . . I made this!!!
It's like . . . a sarcastic poster . . . or . . . a flier . . . or a banner for Sokkla fans to rally under.
. . .
You know . . . Ironic!!

. . .
Okay, okay, okay, I couldn't think of anything other than capture myself.

There's a story on fanfiction called Airship Down and the Mountains of Madness. I takes place between books two and three. Sokka goes on a solo mission to destroy a secret fire nation weapon in the South Pole and ends up stranded in the Arctic wastes with Azula. Now they most work together to survive the harsh environment. But the weather is not the only thing they have to worry about. Something lurks beneath the ice.
Not a capture story, a survival story.

Well not that I don't mind them(just as long their well-written and such) but there can be other ideas for the awesome shipping.

I would totally be down for that, I would totally brainstorm it, even though I like Hahn/Azula better than Sokka/Azula, I still do appreciate the sokkla ship's awesomeness.

Since she had been behaving herself so well at the asylum... that is, she hadn't attempted murder for nearly six months, she had been allowed brief access to her family and the luxuries of her old life. It was always a tense time. Everyone knew the consequences of what would happen if they stressed her fragile mind enough for it to cause a breakdown. For the most part, the Gaang avoided her, and took special pains to make sure Toph avoided he. The two did not get along well, and the merest bump, hint of a snide tone, or snub could send them both into a frenzy of blows.
Usually, however, this was not a problem. For the most part, on these family visits, Azula shadowed her mother like a sullen, angry, miserable puppy dog. If she was not with her mother, she was with Ty Lee, and if not with Ty Lee, then with Katara, spirits only knew why she hung around her.
Sokka didn't like the amount of time she spent with his sister.
This dinner was like any other, Zuko sat at the head of the table, his girlfriend to the right and Ursa to the left. Azula sat next to her mother, pushing the food around on her plate with her chopsticks without really touching it. She would never eat anything unless Katara or Ursa cut it and then tasted it for her first. She was heavily paranoid, and was convinced someone was trying to poison her.
Usually, her eyes would dart furtively around the room, nervously looking for hidden ninjas in the shadows that were never there. Today, however, was different.
They must have switched her medication.
Today, she stared at him. Only him. Her eyes didn't falter once, not even when her mother asked her a question directly. Through the appetizers that she didn't sample, he figured he had something on his face. Through the salad she only ate a bite of because Ursa urged her to eat her vegetables, he decided that she was toying with him, trying to get a reaction. Through the main plate that she picked at after Katara tasted it for her, he assumed she was having an 'episode'. Finally, during dessert, which she ignored save to knock a plate of cherries to the floor, it dawned on him that she was probably plotting to kill him and deciding how best to do it.
Without meaning to, their eyes met, and, her lashes narrowed, the right corner of the right side of her mouth curved into a small smile. It was neither flirtations nor pleased, it was cruel and anticipatory, like a predator who had just caught a scent of it's prey. The sight of it made a cold shiver run down the length of his body from the back of his neck to the tips of his toes. Quickly, he made a point of turning his back to her and striking up a conversation with Ty Lee, who sat on his right.
Azula was crazy.
She was totally mad.
