Yeah definitely from your older style. You really took a pretty big step in your recent works, especially with the Gijinka's and speedpaints. But I'm sure your apprentice will be doing those soon, if he puts the time into it that is. XD

It's all for practice anyways so it's not like it fits into my norm any how. My normal style has evolved but not that far ahead. He can catch up... if he drew MORE! haha nah I don't blame him with school and work like the rest of the world...

Practice and experimentation, never know you may find yourself incorporating the speeds in your style one day just out of whim or curiosity to see if it works or not.

Yeah school and work, biggest pains in the asses... But gotta do it...

Yeah, and I've been trying to figure out if I want to do a sketchy/scribbly or a clean style, digital or traditional, a painterly style, black and white or color,or maybe all... Also line variation too, that's like at the top of my list.

Course its things like this that keep me busy and sometime put me in a art block. XD

I know how ya feel man. I take breaks on and off and come back and paint things that have no consistency with my previous work hahaha
