Rusty still did not move. But this time he was trying to pinpoint Longtail's position.

There he was, just behind a dusky brown queen.

Rusty flattened his ears, narrowed his eyes, and, hissing, leaped through the startled

cats to fling himself onto his tormentor."

Into The Wild - Pages 35-36

Ah yes, this scene. An oldie but a classic! I'm surprised I haven't drawn it until now anyway. Instead of drawing the heat of the battle, I just decided to draw a 'prequel' of sorts to it. In hindsight, I could've spent more effort on the background, but I've taken on a little challenge to draw a scene for each of the books for as long as I can! I have just started my school holidays (which is 2 weeks long), and I plan to draw for the entirety of it. So, these won't have top tier effort, but I'm still going to make them pretty!
