What the story here?Β I'm intrigued...Β The two in the foreground, sitting, are they awaiting rides?Β The guy sitting on the chain, strikes me as though he's ready to drop, he's so tired.

This situation is that these two guys are completely drunk. It's not unusual to find drunk / passed-out salarymen in Tokyo. The crowds of people just ignore them. And this is a Sunday night!

Oh wow, that was the last of my suspicions... the way they are dressed is what threw me...looks like work clothes to me...the brief case sealing a strong impression.Β lol
In retrospect, the title is suggestive... though... that too, initially, made me think "after work".

Well, I'm young and fit so it's really not bad. I'm out shooting most every day and I just stay well hydrated (and make sure to drink stuff with salt in it). I end up drinking like 3 liters a day, haha. However, sadly some people are definitely suffering.

This really brings out the idea that everyone is the hero of their own story.Β Β The guy sitting on the chain resting his head on his briefcase is what sells the diversity of different lives present in the photo.

Oh yeah, for sure! These guys were definitely the heroes of a story that evening. When I'm out shooting sometimes I try to really focus my mind on a person and try to envision their whole life, reminding myself that they have all the little (and big) dramas in their life as I do. It's a very powerful feeling.
