what camera and lens do you use?... I love your photos man, the colors, the sharpness, the composition, the everything!!!!!!!

I use a Nikon D3 with a Voigtländer 40mm f/2 for most of my photos, particularly street photos like this one. The lens is manual focus but it is exceedingly sharp, even wide open.

oh I forgot to ask (hope you don't mind), do you use any flash or just put each camera settings on the maximum capability? i'm a beginner photographer so any advice helps, specially from someone that sure knows what he's doing

I do not use flash for urban or street photography. There are times it could be useful but generally I don't like the look of a flash and it can annoy people. Tokyo is well lit at night so using the 'natural' ambient light works really well.
