What an interesting concept, I enjoyed reading about it. I was a bit surprised by how extremely different the interior looked compared to the exterior. On the outside it looks kind of scary, as if one of the cubes could fall off at any moment. But inside it actually looks cozy!

It's a fascinating building, which feeds the imagination.

Very nice.Β Β Are you trying to multiply your office space?Β Β
It's surprising how clear the reflection is. I wonder if they use special coating on these panels/windows.Β

Thanks! I was there again yesterday with some clients showing them the same shot, and it just wasn't coming out quite so reflective. I think it really depends on the ambient light. I think certain conditions cause the glass to be much more reflective. In the case of this photo it was a somewhat sunny day but not fully sunny. Perhaps this soft, vivid light enhanced the reflection. (Also, my secret is that I carry a bottle of Windex and a rag with me a give the window a nice cleaning before my photo.)

Thanks for the explanation. I see you're quite prepared.Β Β  In the end, maybe you are really carrying a giant frost-glass with you.Β Β
Yeah, I guess it helped that the sun was behind the glass and at a very rather steep angle, so that the light reflected off the backside of the glass.Β

They are 10 square meters. So very small. I rent one for my office space. You can read about it here: www.eyexploretokyo.com/blog/of…

Those were envisioned to dominate Tokios architecture during the 80's, if I remember that right.

Yes, this one was built in 1972 and was to be the crown jewel of the Metabolist architecture movement. It was naively optimistic, but also thoughtfully progressive. It's too bad it didn't work out, but it's still a wonderful structure.
