Maybe I am strange but this is so beautiful!
Technical, structural parts that are not visible from the main street - a secret life of houses that are so respectable and providing various services... mixed with mysterious doors to mysterious little shops, and the graffiti that generally says "yes, we are here, alive, and possibly a bit angry or high". Secret life, secret world, secret reality.

Actually, I did make an HDR of this scene, but I didn't like the result. What you see here is a single exposure (with some editing of course). It's amazing what you can pull out of a single high quality raw file.

Thanks! And absolutely yes! Ginza is filthy in the back streets. Lot's of rats about too. Plenty of abandoned buildings and dingy back alleys. It's why I love Ginza so much!

It is! Ginza is like a beautiful woman with a dirty secret. The main streets are all haute couture, but the back alleys a dark and rat-infested. I love this dichotomy.
