It worked out this time! I love panning shots and I'm always trying. I find between 1/60 and 1/125 to be the sweet spot. Great autofocus helps too, though not crucial.

Yes, of course, autofocus is a way to best the results I got panning at the same speed with my Nikon F back in the day. Hit or miss with more misses than hits; and you had to have a pre-focus setup. Could never do it on the fly.

Yeah, when I do this with manual lenses I try to prefocus to where I expect them to be. This technique also works sometimes.
