My nervousness was really thinking that you probably get TONS of people suggesting things for you to draw when you just want to do whatever you feel like, and I didn't want to be one of those people.

My thought with this is that they were accidentally merged by Eggman while trying to siphon out their chaos abilities or something. Chaotic takes a second to process to register what just happened, and then they just kinda smile and look up at Eggman, who's terrified because he's just fused his archenemy with one of the most powerful beings on the planet.

Chaotic takes quite a bit from Chaos, actually. He's quiet and calm most of the time, but he does still find pleasure in taking down Eggman's schemes. He retains Sonic's friendliness and heroism, but also gains Chaos' restrain and thinking through what he's going to do instead of just winging it and hoping everything goes for the best. Both of them can be seen individually at times, and other times it's a blend of both.

Also thank you very much! I had ideas for some others, but I haven't gotten around to designing them yet.

Eh I get some every now and then, but even if I can't get around to drawing them, I'd still LOVE to hear what you're thinkin bout!

And there is some GREAT imagery in that description!! It's a very different set-up than what I've done for my fusion world and I think that's fantastic! I can imagine them sometimes distorting like Malachite from SU when lapis dragged them into the ocean and their faces tried moving apart when chaotic is switching between personalities. Haha!! How ironic is it that sonic hates water and now he IS water? Would he still be scared??
And whenever you get around to those other ideas of yours, would love to see those too! ^^

I think their first step after beating Eggman that first time would be to go to Tails and see if separating them is an option. They'd be stuck together until somebody can find a solution, but eventually get used to it.
Sonic might be a little freaked at first about being water, but once he finds the versatility of being a fluid, he'd probably find a lot more ways to use it to his advantage (hiding from Amy, for instance...).

As for their splitting portion, it's less of a physical appearance change and more of a personality switch. Chaos wouldn't be caught break-dancing, or whining because his new form makes eating chilidogs virtually impossible. and on the flip-side, sometimes Chaotic will say something poetic or give a piece of wisdom that makes the others go "There is NO WAY that was Sonic talking."
