Description
Solar Eclipse is the Amethyst of the Sun, and the partner of Wave the Swallow.

Solar Eclipse is an outgoing and adventurous spirit, she's never felt comfortable being in one place for very long and thus the nomadic life of the Avians suited her just fine. Prior to the massacre, she was much more cocky and thought that the Obsidians were weak and would never pose a real threat to them. Her ego got a firm slap when she was proven wrong, and ever since she's had a bit of a confidence issue, always questioning and second-guessing herself when she makes a decision.

When she took Wave as a host she was happy to let the swallow take the reins, hardly letting herself out of the tiny corner of Wave's mind she hid within. When she actually manifested herself, nobody, not even Wave herself, seemed to notice...That is until South Migration awoke too. Because Jet refused to help Sonic and the other Amethysts at first, Solar stayed by his side, until finally he relented, and both birds joined their brethren for the fight...accompanied by a very confused Storm the Albatross, who said he'd go wherever "The Bosses" did.

When not working on new inventions or causing mayhem around their home, she can be seen sunbathing on the rooftop, basking in the light she'd been devoid of for so long.
