Graham gave a moan as he rolled over in the darkness. That tumble had really taken it out of him. "Ugh... Where...Where am I?"

"Graham, is that you?" A voice asked, echoing off the walls of the space.

"Dad!" Graham scrambled to his feet, managing to make out Chief Burns coming towards him from further up a sloping pile of loose dirt.

"You okay, son?" Chief Burns asked.

"Y-Yeah... I'm fine. We engineers wear these hard hats for a reason..." He moved the flashlight beam around the space, finding the walls, floor and ceiling to be made of stone and dirt, and a hole in the ceiling providing some light, but too high to climb out of.
"It looks like an underground cavern of some sort..." Graham murmured. "...Boulder!? Kade!? Anyone!?" he called out, but all he heard was his own voice echoing off the walls.

"I think we're on our own, son." Chief Burns assumed, putting a hand on his son's shoulder.

The sound of something falling made them turn, and they saw a portion of the dirt pile shifting around, before a green head and hand broke out of it, coughing and wheezing. It resembled a robotic humanoid mole, but Graham could tell from the voice and coloring who it was. "Boulder!"

"Graham...!" the autobot rasped, continuing to cough out dust and dirt.

Graham scrambled up the slope, starting to dig out his partner. "D-Don't worry, buddy. We're gonna get you out of there."

After a few minutes of digging, Boulder was able to pull himself free of the dirt, sliding down to the bottom of the pile and shaking dust and dirt from himself. "Ow... Is this what breathing is like...? It's fascinating...But also painful...!"

"You gonna be okay, Boulder?" Chief Burns asked.

"F-Fine, Chief...Primus, Chase was down here too!"

Chief Burn's eyes widened, looking back at the pile. Was he buried too? "Chase!?"
