Some Aegislash variants. I imagine they would evolve more akin to just another Doublade with more balanced stats, and king’s shield just functions like protect rather than a stance change. Kinda sketchy and gross, don't mind that. I just had to make some variations based on some of my favorite fictional swords.

Kiln - evolves from a rare type of honedge found only around volcanoes. They’re extremely territorial and prey on eachother, leading to few that grow into adulthood. Legends say they were born from the spirits of an old pirate crew that was sacrificed to the volcano gods by the locals. Their unusual shield is merely an old trash can lid they enforced by smelting down fallen honedge. They love collecting gold and hoard it. They fly into a violent rage when they see any kind of ape-like pokemon. Nobody knows why.
Cyber Bully - much like Porygon this variant is man made, though the honedge was corrupted and runs wild online like a virus, wreaking havoc on networks. Rather than use a shield, this variant of aegislash wields two honedge who partner up with it in a symbiotic bond. Curiously, these are capable of changing their typing depending on what blade is being used to attack. Even stranger, only the red variant seems to evolve. They're violent and aggressive but if a trainer earns their respect they are fiercely loyal, but still fight pragmatically and may disobey commands.
Ancient Temple - perhaps the most laid back of its kind, these are very uncommon and can be found near ancient grounds or ruins of some kind. They claim said locations and guard them dutifully, and have often been spotted planting and tending gardens in their territory. While they will defend their land mercilessly, if they sense the intruder is not a threat, they are passive and have also been known to teach younger pokemon and humans. Locals can tell stories of them shadow sneaking into their homes to steal miltank butter.
Holy Emissary - an extremely rare variant that is rumored to have come from another dimension. When not engaged it wraps itself up and clings to a tree, melding into it. It is secretive and averse to fighting, and it will flee from battle rather than fight. One would think it cowardly if it wasn’t willing to fight to the death to defend those that can’t protect themselves.
