Whenever we see Mickey Mouse, he's always smiley, happy, and overall positive.
Why shouldn't he be? He's got a kingdom, the love of his life, friends, and so much more.
But deep down, there's one thing he can never have again.
He can never have his Father (Walt Disney) alongside him.

Growing up, Mickey and Walt were as close as possible, they treasured each other as family.
Walt being the wise and imaginative business man that never gave up on his dreams, and Mickey as the bright young lad that was willing to make them happen.
Walt gave Mickey everything he ever wanted, and for that Mickey couldn't ask for anything else.

But it never lasted.
When Walt died, Mickey's world was changed forever.
He froze on the spot.
The man that gave the Mouse everything he could dream of, was gone.
And he could never return.

It left a deep cut on Mickey's heart, to this day he still hasn't recovered from the grief.
Everything Mickey sees, reminds him of his father.
After all, cartoon characters can't die.
