Commission for of Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII being wrapped up by a spider. As FFXIII does not actually have any spiders in the game I decided to create one based off the Pulsework robots (hence the title of this piece).

I have called it a Pulsework Spider and it can only be found in the deepest regions of Mah'habara, perhaps the reason it has not been documented. It has a large orb like spinner at the back, which produces strong cable like threads that can be fired over several metres to ensnare it's prey. Once caught, it can retract the threads, reeling the victim in. The spinner can also spin around to weave thicker cables, capable of supporting the spider's weight and keeping it's prey immobilised.
