Edit: Resized the source file so that it doesn't appear pixelated when viewing at full size.Commission for of Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII being wrapped up by a spider. As FFXIII does not actually have any spiders in the game I decided to create one based off the Pulsework robots (hence the title of this piece).
I have called it a Pulsework Spider and it can only be found in the deepest regions of Mah'habara, perhaps the reason it has not been documented. It has a large orb like spinner at the back, which produces strong cable like threads that can be fired over several metres to ensnare it's prey. Once caught, it can retract the threads, reeling the victim in. The spinner can also spin around to weave thicker cables, capable of supporting the spider's weight and keeping it's prey immobilised.

I think in final fantasy you have to actually say the spell names. Because you can't use magic when the silence debuff is on the character.

Sweet work, I especially love the arched pose and the darker and "grittier" lighting you've got here, especially in comparison to your earlier works. The strain in her hands is also palpable, as is the fearful, yet determined look on her face. The detail in the webbing is also top notch, and the otn web gag is certainly unique for web bondage, though I should hope it doesn't smother our damsel... All in all, good work, and Kudos for not doing the standard straight up mummification!

The level of detail is astonishing. From Lightning as she loses her gunblade from attack, following her attempt stopping said loss to breaking a thread if possible. Adding this, her expression is truly perfect, from anger over loss weapon, to her hair flowing as she is pulled closer to her assailant. Joining this, the tightness of wrap the Pulsework Spider that already laid upon Lightning, leaving immobilized just enough so it can continue along silencing her bringing on little chance calling for help. Ending off, the scenery is prefect as it tells undocumented creatures easily could lie there.
All and all truly a wonderful piece
Lightning looks absolutely stunning gagged along tightly wrapped in which she is in the process of being wrapped up some more.
Will not lie, would love a follow up and will happily commission for one if need be
