I sketched some barbears that jawn then lined and I colored because I really miss the species and think about them all the time and just need to get my brain together enough to put a species page together? or maybe find someone who would be interested in writing the species page for me in exchange for something, haha,, orzanyway
there's a group for all my species that will be barbear and crafter-centric but it's gonna be a long time before i have it up and running 3: im sorry
for now, in case folks are itching to get their own bear, i have these guys up ahuhu

Oh, what cuties! I'm curious though, what does it mean in the context of barbears, to have a submissive or dominant nature? Does it affect just personality or does it affect their physical appearance, strength, behaviour etc? OuO

Thank you!! Um okay yes! So. The Dom/sub actually refers to the way they stand? If you've seen any other barbear art (in my gallery in the barbear folder!) then you'll notice some of them stand with their backs arched and their heads held high and some that stand with their backs bowed? So the Bears that are more dominant stand in a more dominant way, and vice versa.Β
However! The dominant barbears are often the ones that are most likely to travel away from their home valley and thus acquire a more varied diet? Which leads to them having big manes and being super fluffy. So big fluff = ambitious = probably dominant = arch backed?Β
I'll have this illustrated on the species pages because it's significant to the species!

You're welcome c: I see- it sounds like it makes a big difference to them. Is it possible for a sub barbear to want to travel too (albeit less likely?) It'll be interesting to read more about them when you make the page. I'll look forward to seeing it OuO

Yes it is! Ultimately it depends on what the barbear wants for themselves, sometimes sub bears will travel away from the home valley with a companion (or alone but that's rare haha).
And oh! okay, I'll let jawn know ;v; he'll send the last bit shortly and you can pay it when you're ready!

I'd love to help out if need be! I see you have a few people but I thought I'd offer myself! I know a great deal about groups and a fair bit of coding if you want to make a group. I had my own species for awhile but I stepped away from it but I could lend a hand if you'd like.
I could do write ups and species trait sheets pretty well, thought I'd offer. I'd be horribly cheap too xD I just like helping.

I'm not even 100% sure like I'd like to just have, basic species info! down! and like.... I guess it would be real helpful if I could find someone who would. a) know what kind of info should be included on the species page (I can probably help in this area by asking friends and stuff;;; on my own i just draw a blank) and like. let me talk at them, and maybe, put the writing into a formal format??? and then throw it back at me so i can maybe organize it on to a. page <8) ;Β
