YEAH! Figured I'd finally get this set up so I can start making Toll premades *_*

Gonna keep it simple for now? Will add as questions get asked or whatever. There isn't much in the way of lore here, but I'll touch on it!
It's color coded!

Information you should know first! Tolls come in two main variations. "Natural" Tolls, who live in groups and revere Lucky Chimes, often partaking in ceremonies dedicated to the Chime species, and good vibes in general, and "Impostor" Tolls, who split from Natural Toll groups and live as individuals, fooling bonded humans into thinking that they are Chimes, replacing the human's Chime and stealing the magic of the chime and the good vibes of the human. Tolls of either variety are capable of eating food matter for survival! They are also capable of devouring magic.

1: Tolls naturally grow fur manes around their necks. Some Natural Tolls may choose to cut or style their manes differently, but Impostor Tolls always cut the hair away from their head and style parts of their neck mane to look like Chime "ears". Unlike Chime "ears", Tolls can not move their faux "ears".

2: Impostor Tolls and Natural Tolls have slightly varying anatomy due to their lifestyles. Naturally, Toll backs are curved inward so their flanks stick out a little. However, since Impostor Tolls need to look like Chimes, they spend much of their time as a quadruped (on all fours), and curve their backs out to mimic the spine shape of a Chime.

3: Tolls are not limited to the hair-only type of tails that Chimes are limited to. Some Toll tails may have bone and flesh beneath the fur, and may wag and move much like a dog's or a cat's tail. Tolls may even have unicorn or lion style tails (short fur with a tuft of longer fur at the end), but Tolls may not have completely hairless tails.

4: Impostor Tolls wear helmets to pass off as a Chime. The helmet covers their entire head. Natural Tolls may sometimes wear masks that look like Chime faces. These masks do not cover their entire head.

5: Natural Tolls' ears come in all shapes and sizes! While the ears do not interfere with Chime masks, most types of ears would interfere with Chime helmets. Thus, Impostor tolls always crop their ears to a very short length, and usually keep them pressed flat against the head.
Also! Impostor Tolls will usually be seen with very contracted pupils, since they spend most of their time with the helmet in the dark. When they take the helmet off, their pupils contract, as they are not used to the direct light. Natural Tolls have larger, friendlier looking eyes.

6: (This involves you being familiar with Chime anatomy, otherwise just take my word for it haha) Tolls have thumbs! Unlike Chimes, Tolls may actually use their hands as hands, and they have dexterous fingers with which to grab and use tools. Chimes also have a joint that seems to "break" their lower back legs. Tolls do not have this break! (Not super important, I'm not gonna bug anyone about this!)

7: Tolls have some natural magic in them as a species! This magic allows them to hover very little for a short amount of time, and also allows them to shrink from their natural size at about 3ft/1m, to a Chime's size! They cannot make themselves grow larger unless they acquire more magic- which happens to be something Impostor Tolls do, the more they absorb magic from Chimes!

Impostor Tolls are usually larger and more aggressive than Natural Tolls! Natural Tolls spend their lives respecting and worshiping Lucky Chimes, while Impostor Tolls usually have a bit of darkness in their hearts, driving them to hunt and devour Chimes' magic, usually ultimately ending in the death of one or more Chimes.
