Hi, in autumn many trees drop their leaves and look like dead but green again in May. Is that different where you live?

I was wondering since in California due to drought and infestation by several non-native insects we have large areas of forest filled with brown, dead, ready to burn trees.

Yes, I've heard of that. Foreign animals and plants are getting a bigger problem in Europe too.
