Just a question, before I start to splash that bit of color in and ink the picture - she's albino? Shouldn't the eyes be red then
(Since no pigments makes the blood vessels shine through)

A lot of albinos have light blue /grey eyes, and as far as I know the amount of pigments changes from person to person, most of them don't completely lack pigments. Although in the ref her eye are indeed unrealistically saturated because it matched the general palette better. You can play around with the saturation and make them more gray ^^
