Description
ForSaw someone add what voice their fox would have, so I figured I would too x'D www.youtube.com/watch?v=SyQRB_…
Level 9.
Level 8 changes:
-Her legs are growinggg so she's a bit gangly now. Her ears and tails are a bit longer too.
-Tails drag on the ground behind her.
-Dark grey markings and white markings have changed slightly. Please refer to her level 9 ref to spot the differences.
-Her spine stripe now extends to her head.
Stability Changes:
-Has begun to hear faint whispers if there's nothing else to distract her. At the moment they are still too faint to properly make-out words.
Level 7.
NOTE:
-Anatomy is based on a Blanford's fox.
-Though she is growing, her fork is not.
Name: Näyl (pronounced “nail”)
Level: 8
Gender: Female
Affinity: Sound
Totem: Rusty tuning fork, worn tightly as a collar.
Likes: Noises (hearing them and making them, loud or otherwise), damp or tight places, feeling secure, fidgeting.
Dislikes: Silence, empty spaces, stagnant water.
Personality: Fearful and paranoid, Näyl is awkward around others, believing that anyone and everyone may be against her at any point in time. She is quite quirky, and is known to twitch or shake if upset, sometimes muttering nonsense. She has a difficult time keeping still.
She has also been seen talking to herself when alone and doesn't seem to be fond of absolute silence, becoming agitated if things are too quiet.
Additional Info:
-Is comfortable in dark places where she has to rely on her large ears.
-She is not all “there” and is a bit unstable, mentally.
-Her tail is thinner than a typical fox's would be.

Been having some trouble planning out her next stages of development, so there's a small chance I may change this current design. Though if I do, it won't be by much.
But omg my bby has survived to level 8 ;A; so proud! Didn't think she'd make it haha xD I also still can't draw baby animals aushdoushaduo oh well. My style keeps changing too so I never draw her consistently lol. I was going for a more realistic look for this ref though. Really need to draw more of her. Besides all the doodles of her on my math notes.

I felt the voice fit Anima pretty well (my pmd totodile) It's just so little and..and.. gah ;3; I found it slightly ironic that the song talks much about crying, and Anima does that on a regular basis. Whether or not they're crocodile tears is debatable lol

It's just hard to get motivated for animation though :"D so much tedious work...especially when I have other things to focus on. But I have sort of planned out by the seconds how it would look and everything.
I honestly don't like musicals, so I didn't even want to go |D but it was for a field trip, and actually it was pretty good. I just have a hard time following the story when I watch a play. *is easily confused*

Yeah. I've never done any animation besides Flipnotes on my DS, but even those took work x'D I often plan out big things like that in my head.
I usually don't either, but my mom really wanted me to go so I was like sure, ok hahaha.

I've done a few gifs. I find that sketching out the key frames is fun, but then I just lose motivation after that point |D (this is a perfect example of this: [link] ) but it's still pretty fun anyway.

Oh lord D| that's like me. I'm not allowed to watch Animal Cops during that week because I get so emotional. Not because of the cruelty, no. Because at the end when the animals all go to good homes and are all happy my body can't handle those feels.
Yeah, man. Ironically, my roommate LOVES musicals though so she's always trying to get me to watch them. So sometimes she'll explain one to me and I'm like "no man, you know I can't stand those" and she's like "It's okay! Everyone dies." And that's how she got me to watch Les Mis again.

oh gosh ikr! I love animals so much... I wanted to be a vet up until last semester, but I dont think I could handle actually doing the surgeries and things myself. Plus my grades arent good enough for med school ._.

Ahh becoming a vet is my goal ;u; I'm only now ending my freshman year, but so far I have all A's so I'm hoping I can get in. Though even if you have a 4.0, it's still really hard to get in ;; it's easier to go to med school, actually, just because there are only 28 vet schools in the entire country. But I actually used to watch surgeries for fun as a kid. Sat in on a few too in high school. I actually think it's pretty fascinating |D and if I can't become a vet, I definitely want to be a surgeon.

I'm finishing my sophomore year up now. I'm stil a bio major, but now I have no clue what I want to do. I feel lost ._. I used to watch animal cops and emergency vet and all those kinds of shows when I was little, so I thought I could handle it. But I feel like it's different when it's right in front of you. Idunno

I've actually been feeling the same way recently. When the chances of me getting into vet school are slim, I feel like I need a back up plan. It's hard not to get discouraged and feel lost when you're striving for something like that. Maybe you should branch out and take different bio classes, if that's still what you want to go into. Or heck, just take some other classes of subjects you're interested in, see if maybe you should go into a completely different major ;u;

I'm taking an animal behavior class right now and I really enjoy it, but I'm not sure about next semester yet. I'm actually meeting with my advisor tomorrow to talk about my fall schedule lmao xD idunno. I really like foreign languages. Like, linguistics and how they're all similar and word etymology and junk. But idk... I really want something with animals... *le sigh*

I have all my communications requirements done after this semester, but I'm debating continuing German just for the heck of it. Since I've been good with it so far x'D Psych, huh? My friend switched from bio to psych. I might wanna look into some of those classes, they seem interesting to me.

Yeah my advisor recomended I try out Field Biology if I can since it's... well... field work, haha. He said if I try out more bio courses or maybe do some research projects something will catch my interest. I'll just have to wait and see.

OMG I took French too! |D Though only about three years (one year in middle school, then two in high school), then I went on to take two years of German in high school. I actually noticed Fahne's name was German, and the his voice in the video is in German too...I was actually contemplating writing something in German on the picture, but I wasn't sure if you'd get it or not, but apparently you would lol.
I have two or three more math classes after calculus to take :/ And yes, I would definitely count physics as math.
Oh man, I hate when classes overlap. Now that my schedule has, once again, gotten messed up and needs to be changed, I have to make sure chemistry doesn't interfere with my other classes. Sigh.

The other part of the reason was that when in 8th grade I heard that our European History teacher takes a 5-day trip to Paris every year, and I wanted to be able to speak French ;A; It was so fun. Hehe, yes. I was fixated on German for a while. I also found it funny that Fahne had a voice in my head, but not many other of my characters do. It took me a while to pinpoint it, but then I realized it was from that song I used to listen to all the time |D What were you gonna write? lol

Well I've got my schedule now, and I'm pretty satisfied with it. I'll have 5 classes, 2 with lab components, equaling 17 credit hours. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday will be my busiest, but I only have one class Tuesday and Thursday, which is nice.

I took Spanish from kindergarten to second grade I think. Don't remember much though. And my AP Lit teacher took us to Dublin once! xD I had already been there, but it was still fun.
And actually I've been all over the world. I lived in England for five years too. I've been to Canada, Mexico, Jamaica, Dominica, Guadeloupe, England, Ireland, Scotland, France, Germany, Italy, anddd Japan. I think that's it. Well, and the US of course, but I'm from there so it doesn't really count lol. Have you been anywhere else besides Paris?

My schedule just got excessively complicated the last day or two. Apparently now I need a lab too? Ugh OTL and I have no idea what building my Bio class is going to be in. It's not on the campus map and no one else has heard of it. And I've been so busy with everything, I haven't had much time to sit down and figure everything out...I've already had to decide against taking the next German course because it'll interfere too much :/ I'm aiming for taking about 14 or 15 credits.

I took French, Spanish, German, Chinese, and Japanese from kindergarten til 1st grade, then got to pick one and chose French for second grade. That was while I lived in Raleigh, North Carolina. Then during 2nd I moved up to Ohio so the language stopped til high school lol. I've been to Canada once, Niagara falls. But that's it ^^
I have relatives on my mother's side from germany, so I was really excited to learn it~ Hehe that's cute.

That's cool : D I think the reason I got interested in learning German is because when I lived in England, a lot of people I knew had come from Germany. One of my friends on dA is German as well, so I think that also helped a bit.
Actually, I figured out my schedule finally I think on Friday? So basically I'm just taking Bio, Chem, the Chem lab, Calculus, and now Culture and Psychology. Wanted to take Abnormal Psychology, but because I finally figured out where the bio building is, I realized I wouldn't have enough time to get there. Oh well.
But hey, that's really cool! : D I'm probably going to have to take some classes in the summer or something to catch up on my credits. I've been trying not to overload myself.

Nice! I got the urge to lean prolly 5/6 years ago when I was on a site called Whirled. One of my good friends on there was from Germany. I stopped going there a long time ago though, but then again, so did he lol. It's filled with tweens =.=

It's a little difficult to get used to at first. It does get really lonely being away from your parents, but after a while, when you can go anywhere and do anything, it's really nice.
