Description
This is the second page of the What if an episode were a comic cover? section focusing on the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe episode where Prince Adam surrenders his powers. For years I had always wanted to see this episode represented as the classic Spider-Man cover to issue fifty as rendered by John Romita. NATHAN BAERTSCH illustrated this homage to perfection with equally striking colors by VAL STAPLES!- Val Staples

This is a brilliant comic book cover. Makes me wish there were all-new "MOTU" comic books to coincide with the current "MOTU Classics" toy line.

That's something we all hope will happen sooner rather than later!

It is such a beautiful image I almost felt guilty for putting the logo and the corner box on there! - Incidentally, the logo and the heads were illustrated by Emiliano Santalucia!

It was a trick by Skeletor - But yeah, for a brief while He-Man believed he had killed a man...

Liking how Val is going for more brushy-style. Suits Nate's lines well.

Great job Val. Oh Adam...what have you done?! You shamed 80's Superheroes everywhere by taking a life?! For shame, Prince Adam, for shame! I'll bet that's what he's thinking to himself at that moment, the poor guy!
