Oh wow look how half-assed this looks. I REGRET NOTHING.I'd been meaning to do one of these for a while. I figured using the Zoo Squad would be to easy so I used my Pokemon trainer characters (who nobody knows yet because I've only posted like one other picture. Go me). I opted to go without hair because I thought it'd be more helpful.

What if I don't have my own characters?
You know the odd thing about this is plenty of good characters in cartoons use the same basic faces. I think the strength of good writers and their surroundings should not be downplayed to, you know?

I don't think pointing out that design variety is good diminishes other good things a show/character may have. I love a lot of characters with cookie cutter designs because they're great characters. That doesn't change the fact that cookie cutter designs aren't optimal from an artistic perspective.

That's true, it's just I meant without good story even the best one of a kind characters might be wasted. the two good things are best together
The powerpuffs are a good example of characters that have the same sort of form but are different still...

Indeed, writing and visuals need to complement, neither should be a crutch for the other.
The girls are an iffy case since they're the only characters in the show that look like that, and they're siblings so they may very well have the "same face" in universe. Character's having the same face on purpose isn't really the same as a limited style, I don't think. But yeah, they're a great example of portraying different personalities with the same base.
Lol memes aren't really srs bsnss, I'm sure you could do whatever you want with it and nobody'd care.
