My easy, how to edition of how to post literature on deviantart...Mainly, an explanation of how to, for those who don't know.

This website shouldn't make you do all the tedious HTML stuff in your text. They need to allow WordPad files. Fanfiction.net allowsΒ WordPad files, so why doesn't DA?

This isn't working anymore. I just submit a chapter of my story, and it's not showing a single word, unless one clicks on the DOWNLOAD option.

So I did a little test. The html codes work for the app but I don't see a way to upload your content as a file, it'd just have to be copy and paste.

To be perfectly honest, I do not know it it works for iPads. Logically, it would, but as I don't own any i-devices, I can't tell you.

I just figured it out about two days ago but I need to better verifie it before I tell but I'll let you know when I figure out what I did is right or not but I think you just don't choose journal and you choose something that is in literature or somthing else out of your journal but like I said I need better info before I can say this is correct

Hoh, oh my goodness, on one hand I find this super practical (thank you!), but on the other hand it just brings to light how bad dA's system to handle text is. What if you have to format a 16 page document? you just have to manually re-code every instance of bold and italics you used? Dang it, dA.
Then again with how broken the site is I'm not surprised

I agree. I'm pretty tech savvy, so I was able to figure it out fairly quickly, but I would hate to format pages upon pages of text. Β I think that dA is a little more concerned with the art side and less on the text side, though
