Asexuality is very complicated. I think it makes sense, though. (Just in case you don't know, asexual people to want romantic relationships, they just don't want anything past hugging and the occasional kiss. If they are truly asexual, they will never really desire sex.)

It's a pitiful state they are in,....most of them really don't go so far in my stories in that respect either....one of my protagonists in a superhero-ish comic. My protagonist was an asexual boy who always seemed most demure and most inexpressive except for in a few heated battle scenes....he gets a 'girlfriend' who loves him greatly and is quite pretty (despite the age difference of 12 years (18 yrs vs 30 yrs))
