"I thought, now that things are starting to get... well, I don't know if I'd say normal, but closer to it than I've been in a long time, it wouldn't hurt as much. In some ways it doesn't, but there's... a lot to it. I'll be going about my business, finally not feeling afraid or stressed or depressed about it, and... it's like... I expect them to be there? Especially if One is over? She'll come into the room and for a moment, I swear it's one of them. Sometimes I'll... even if it's only for an instant, I'll forget they're even gone. It's been so long, and I thought I'd accepted it, but it keeps happening and I don't know how many more reminders I can take that they're not here any more."

Took a break from crocheting work and finals to do something personal. Kind of a vent about my experiences moving on from losing our dog Lucy so suddenly. Sorry for the sads, and sorry to all the people I've left hanging with responses! I'm gasping for free time. I wanted to finish it more than this, but I'm lousy at lining EVEs and I thought it might be fitting to leave it as is.

Does anyone know my probes well enough to guess who's who? Four is probably pretty easy to pick out, but I'd be really impressed if anyone could tell Three from Five!
