Description
"I need a distraction. And an eyeball."- Clint Barton, Avengers Assemble (2012)
---
size: A3
time ~13 hours
As one of my favourites, I thought I should give Hawkeye a bit of love next - though I will hold my hands up up and say that he was incredibly hard to draw! His face/head shape is so unusual, I struggled a stupid amount, and then his hair was so, so awkward! I don't think I've ever tried to draw hair so short before...
So Clint was an experiment from start to finish, but one I'm very glad I did!
Next up, Coulson.
(Fair warning, I'm working on a commission piece and also the Suits-a-thon challenge on Tumblr, so my Avengers may take a back seat for the next week or so!)

Amazing likeness - I'm just in awe! I love the scruffly hair and funny little angles around his mouth.

Thankyou very much! He was a massive challenge, but his mouth was particularly interesting to draw

Thankyou! I must say, I almost didn't go for smiling because I think the rest of the set will be earnest/serious, but Clint suits smiles/smirks =]

I kinda like the smile because he's the least likely charter to smile (at least in this movie) but he's got an awesome one.

I like his smile too =] In the comics, he's really mischievous and sarky, he just didn't have all that much chance to be like that in the film (not that I mind really - Jeremy is fabulous!)

Yeah, the movie could have used more Hawkeye, he spent so much of the movie being a mindless bad ass for Loki. Jeremy is fabulous!

I've got my fingers crossed for him getting his own film! He'd be AWESOME! Or at least some more of him in the various sequels =] I'd love to see him trying to help Cap acclimatise to the 21st century
