Before I begin, a little backstory on Lady's people. Which I haven't really given a specific name for. Whilst human in all forms, they're from another etheral plane (aka magic railway) and unlike regular homo sapiens, possess magic that they're fiercely protective of. They're also not a race like African American, Caucasian etc, they're a race to their own. Proteus is another one (see here) sta.sh/0akageu303j The crossing of dimensions is not forbidden, but it frowned upon.

Anyway, onto the story c:

Basically as a teenager Diesel 10 was a handsome boi 👌 a handsome boy that liked a woman... or 3. Or 12. Or 60. Basically a player. And one of these ladies he liked especially was part of some other dimension where the people had powers. But although the people allowed crossing dimensions, they did not allow the romantic relationship of theirs and the regular world. This young woman was pure and innocent and saw no harm in befriending them. Her name was Lady. And so she befriended the handsome young man - over a long period of time, both grew romantic feelings for each other. One night they happened to be caught to by the woman’s mother. The mother resented this relationship, and stood true to tradition, and vowed that the man would ‘never lay hands on another of their kind’ before blasting him and causing both arms to be lost, as well as a few scars on the face where the magic hit. Blinded by rage, he vowed to get his revenge on Lady, manifesting her mother’s attack as somehow her fault, but he struggled with the love he still had for her.

Years later on Sodor, the man named himself Diesel 10, refusing to allow his real name to be used after his attack. He'd gained a terrifying prosthetic called Pinchy, who occasionally seemed to have a mind of it's own. When lady reappeared, he sought to destroy her, but was ultimately foiled. His next return to take over the steelworks was also crushed. One day, Lady returned yet again to guard Sodor. Although initially seeking to destroy her once more, D10 failed in his attempts, softened by Sodor and weary of the chase. He is by no means a model citizen, but he is living comfortably now, and Lady has repaired connections between the two worlds, and someone has come along to join it.

I didn't want my lady to look like a rip off of everyone else's, so I went for something much different Hope you like her anyway!
