Hahhhh that's a very accurate 'me' at the top tbh Although I would like to point out that whilst Captain is non-rail 'bae', Kevin is non-rail FAVE. Victor however ... he's my rail bae, rail fave, and fave character for the whole frickin show so I had a teeny little Muru on here at one point as the one and only spai-bae but he looked very out of place XD Whoops

I made some headcanons tooooo~

Yes, i'm aware the original characters are engines XD These HC's are humanverse! only. I've seen some human 'parents' for the engines around XD they're pretty cool.

Victor:

Well seen as he worked in the sugar mill in Cuba, I'd assume he might have worked there as a teenager. He possibly had either a very low-income family, or was an orphan in a care home (which would be interesting seen as how he'd later go on to raise Kevin) Despite the putdowns of working in a sugar mill, plucky Vicky was determined to study. He took night-classes in medical practises and quickly worked up to an official medical degree. Further on, he was moved to Sodor in his late twenties. Well, he was pushed into the sea by an over-excitable Luke, and almost suffered hypothermia, but Victor's quick thinking and medical skills saved him from a worse fate. Rather than assign him to the work he was originally going to be set, Sir. Topham Hatt decided to enroll Victor at Sodor's Steamwork Hospital, where he quickly moved up the ranks to head honcho. A few months later, he'd go on to find little abandoned Kevin in a box and take him under his wing. also has some amazing Victor's past headcanon's so check them out

Captain:

I already made a brief bit of headcanon but I've expanded on it That's Captain's father 'Sinker' (Captain is Caucasian/Caribbean). Sinker was the most respected man in the village, always the first one out to sea and last one back home. He wouldn't rest until he had enough fish to feed as many as needed it. Every summer, the coastal village held a massive annual festival, where floats and performers would come with stands of foreign goodies to share amongst the people. Their latest performer was a captivating young woman, and she and Sinker caught each other's eye during one of the performances. After the main festival was over, they met by one of the stands, Sinker complimented her talents, and she complimented his beard, and introduced herself as 'Sandy' or, that was her performance name at least. Sinker takes her out on a little boat to see the sea, and she starts to call him 'captain'. After enjoying the festivities and each other's company, the performers leave and life in the village goes back to normal. The following year, 'Sandy' turns up again, only this time she has an unfamiliar ginger baby with her. Knowing that her occupation requires constant stresses and over-seas travelling, she insists that their son stay with Sinker in the village. She had named him 'Captain'. Captain grows up as an eager little fisher-boy, and utterly dotes upon good ol' dad Sinker. He does meet his mother annually, but it's a little awkward, especially as he grows older. However unlike his father, Captain yearns for a more adventurous life (Sinker jokingly blames the boys mother for that) and joins the navy at 18, fighting wars overseas. But despite enjoying the excitement, Captain is a peaceful man and does not wish for the violence of war, so he takes up coast guarding instead, later transferring to Sodor on private hire.

And if you're wondering why Captain's backstory bio is more dramatic, it's simply because it suits the character more I LOVE Victor, but Captain's bio actually mostly revolves around his parents, whereas Victor doesn't really have any.

I'm a simple girl to please. I want 3 things from TTTE:

Victor. LOTS of him.

A Scots/Bees episode (And maybe squeeze some Kevin/Philip in somehow :3)

And an episode focusing on Captain.

Apart from MIR, Cap's biggest part has been in 'Rocky Rescue' - and most of his role in that requires him being utterly useless for the tasks needed. However that's why I found him so gawd damn adorable in that episode 'Just a practise!'

If you think my obsession with Captain is blown out of proportion then yeah :/ It probably is XD

But y'know ... he doesn't have to do much to be a likeable character.

Only I wish he would do more.

The only negative thing I can say about Captain is that in every promo he looks like he's begging for mercy No honestly, zoom slowly in on his face ttte.wikia.com/wiki/File:Capta… ‘help me please D,:'
