A while a go you might remember me doing this: Well, I decided to finally get around to personalities XD Also Thicket still exists I just ... knew I'd never bother to use him So idk, he's doing his own thing. If you follow me on insta (and watch stories) you'll have seen all the ship art for their parents lmao.

So some simple descriptions:

Peppy (Pep) Smurfling:

Both Sassette and Slouchy had had a helping hand in raising the main next gen and found they really loved working with smurfing's so when they got a lil’ older they definitely planned to have one of their own c: They spent a few months getting everything ready, having the cot made, painting the room bright colours, going to the toy maker etc aaaand when they were finally ready, the storks brought one lil’ smurfling to them X3 Peppy is very energetic and friendly, and he’s always the first one to try and make new friends no matter who or what they are c: He can be a little bit reckless and bossy, and doesn’t always have the nicest table manners, but he’s only a kid so he’ll learn XD He’s also just genuinely enthusiastic about what everyone is doing, finding everything from Greedy’s cooking to Tailor’s sewing and even Lazy’s napping to be fun and something he wants to join in with, there’s really no stopping him but he’s also quite empathetic for A young smurfling, he can tell when others are sad and will often bring his toys or make a special crayon drawing for them because he wants everyone to be happy. He has a good relationship with Smurfette too who he calls “auntie” and he’ll often be helping her in her garden because he thinks flowers are nice and colourful c:

Whimsical (Whimsy) Smurfling:

Nat and Snappy had a rocky patch in their relationship, it was going better than Snappy and Sassette’s had as teens but they still had a few arguments here and there but we’re working through them with help from the other Smurfs. One of the arguments was that Nat quite wanted a smurfling whilst Snappy was a bit scared XD But as they worked through their other issues Snappy wondered if it would help them, and he finally came round to the idea, kinda hoping for a strong son. But when Whimsical arrived he fell in love with her and would constantly be holding her and doing as much work as possible until Nat was like “look at mr “I’m scared of being a bad dad”. Whimsy definitely did help Snappy with his struggles and he and Nat learnt to compromise, and Don and Somebody were there to support them c: Whimsy is a totally calm kid, she loves nature and reading and hates high energy sports like running or cartwheels that her bestie Peppy likes; she’d rather just sit under a tree and read. She’s also quite a fan of using nature as therapeutic medication, like helping to calm down Twitchy or using plants to heal common ailments, though she understands more serious conditions will need Dabbler’s help. She’s most passionate about conservation- she’s a strong vegetarian like Nat, and hates humans and poachers that want to destroy the forest and animals (she has a similar ability to Nat with understanding critters, although she somewhat prefers landscapes and plants so she’s not a carbon copy of him)

Interestingly she defo has a side of Snappy somewhere - although she’s so calm, if you were to say, hurt an animal or plant in front of her, you’d be in for 2 apples high of pure fury, and she’s very strong for a female smurfling that doesn’t seem to work out (maybe because of her time with her “uncles” who knows) but that’s a rare and scary occurrence for her.

Nifty Smurfling:

Wild was quite happy with the squirrels and being with Hunter, so when that lil’ Smurfling was delivered he was quite curious XD Hunter would be holding her and Wild would come over and sniff her and chirrp curiously, but once he knew who she was he was obviously very excited and looked after her well :3 Nifty has an interesting colourblindness condition where she cannot see colour, only monochrome, so she’s not really a fan of visual things like sunrises etc - but she does love sounds instead, especially nature ones like birds and gurgling streams - she even loves Harmony’s playing Also since she lives in the treehouse with her parents, she doesn’t really care about appearance and is sometimes mistaken for a male smurfling by the others, which she doesn’t mind or care about, but isn’t. She just cuts her hair with whatever and wears whatever’s comfortable and practical for the forest. She Likes hanging out and doing more wildness stuff like camping and exploring the trees, and also loves fishing in the rivers with her parents c: she gets on quite well with Smurfs from the village, especially her second cousin Rover, and they often go exploring together and she can sit and listen to the sounds c: She can speak to squirrels but not other animals, but also likes the fact squirrels are grey so she doesn’t have to worry about the colours. Her vitiligo is hereditary, but the patches of light skin are much larger than Hunter's.

Marina (Mari) Smurfling:

Last but certainly not least - Mari Mari is the sweet lil’ toddler, a little older than Baby would be in the cartoon (she can say simple words and sentences). Her name was obviously based on the mermaid, but she has a little interest for marine life, especially her favourite toy, a lil’ Orca plush called Twinkle c: But she actually has a far greater skill for the line of work her dad Handy does, sometimes even fixing his machines on accident, which he’s quite surprised at since she’s so young XD For example she’ll just pull a lever or something from where she’s sitting on the ground and boom the machine works, even tho Handy spent 2hrs trying to sort out the problem Mari is also very very close to her older half-brothers, and is almost never seen without them because they love looking after her c: she also loves Smurfstorm, and is always bringing her favourite book or toys for Stormy to play with her, even tho Stormy Isn’t related (Mari’s too young to really understand the family dynamic or why Clumsy and Stormy couldn’t stay together) It’s also possible Marina has met Mari, tho Handy might find the meeting a bit heart breaking so I guess it would probably be accidentally :,D
