Oddly enough...it might be the opposite, too much washing can cause hair to get all oily (ThatΒ΄s what IΒ΄m going with, because I refuse to believe my beloved Severus is all yucky!

His only competition was the greasy creeper, and this was like 40 years before greasy creepers would suddenly become popular. And because what happens to Lily and James after graduating but before Harry was born isn't important, I guess we'll never know.

Same here ^^ I hate bullies in general, but I also think that the Marauders didn't just bully anyone. They noticed that Snape was a little too much into dark arts stuff AND on the weird side, so they just held a special little vendetta against him especially.

I don't think they would bully any non-slytherins, exept that Im no entierly sure. They would have seen anyone from Slytherin as one of the bad guys and that might have lead to more bullying. At the same time I do think that snape was their main, if not their only, target.

Isn't the Marauders saying, "We don't bully non-Slytherins" the same as the DE-wannabes saying "We don't bully non-muggleborns"? Prejudice is prejudice.
Bear in mind that I'm referring to DE-wannabes, not full-fledged Death Eaters, AND that Sirius later attempted to murder Severus as a "prank." At this stage in their careers, I don't see a lot of difference. We're told that James lated "matured," but we know Sirius never regretted trying to kill a schoolmate whom he found annoying.
