Made this yesterday, finished it today. It's a little odd, but I like it!Maroon cotton crochet thread, acrylic funky weird yarn, wooden rings.
No more than an hour of work, all together. Very simple.

i need something for scale. i have no idea how big these are! i can't wrap my mind around it!
also did you find circles to be easier or harder than normal stuff? even when i'm using an object as the center circles always make me unhappy.

Huh, you know, I was thinking maybe I needed something for scale. I think I'll have my mom wear it and I'll take some shots. And circles are easy! I have no idea how to do macrame, but crocheting circles isn't too hard.

i don't really know how to either. i just do the same two knots over and over in different combinations.
i thought about trying out crocheting but it requires too many accessories.

Oh hell no. The only thing it requires is a crochet hook, which costs about 2 bucks, and some yarn, which you seem to have. Any craft store will have such items.

heh, actually most of what i use is found stuff. anything that's white comes from a giant spool of twine i found in my grandfather's shed like 10 years ago.
i used to use stuff i found on the ground also, like random bits of jewelery. but i stopped walking around populated areas so much so i don't pick those sorts of things up anymore.
i thought about knitting too. only i don't know anybody in real life who knows any of these sorts of things.

Yeah knitting is tough if you don't have anyone there to teach you. Crochet I learned by myself, but knitting I could never get the hang of.
